How to get to the
Isle of Wight
Frequent services across the Solent makes travelling to the Isle of Wight so easy. You have a choice of several ferry operators for car or passenger only crossings.
Isle of Wight car ferries operate from Southampton to East Cowes (Red Funnel), Lymington to Yarmouth (Wightlink) and Portsmouth to Fishbourne (Wightlink).
If travelling by train or coach, visitors may use any of the car ferries and also the Southampton to Cowes Hi-Speed Jet Service (Red Funnel), Southsea to Ryde Hovercraft (Hovertravel) and the Portsmouth to Ryde Passenger Catamaran (Wightlink).
