Half Term at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway

13th – 17th February

Take an interesting stroll around Havenstreet Station, enjoy a 10-mile round trip on a steam train and see the restoration work being carried out in the carriage and wagon workshop.

It is expected that flagship steam locomotive No. 24 ‘Calbourne’ and one of the diesel locomotives will be in operation, so take the train for a relaxing trip through the Island's early springtime countryside - You could even hop off at Ashey or Wootton for a short walk in the country.

Enjoy morning coffee, lunch or afternoon tea in the Refreshment Rooms; bag a bargain from the special Half-term Railway Shop; and watch the kids let off steam in the adventure playground. Plus (weather permitting) take a stroll through the Woodland Walk.
